Dr. Kim Sanders

Sanders can’t remember a time when he wasn’t interested in health. Even growing up he enjoyed eating foods that were good for him. He loved playing sports and he was fascinated by the way the body used its fuel to work and play.

Sanders also knew he wanted to be a doctor. While he wasn’t sure exactly what type of medicine he would practice, he knew it would include the use of both traditional and non-traditional or alternative methodologies of healing.

After graduating from Regent College in Albany, New York, Sanders was accepted to medical school earning his degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2000. He also holds a degree in Advanced Physiotherapeutics and is a Board Certified Atlas Orthogonist. Sanders Post Graduate work includes certifications as an Advanced Activator Physician and in Advanced Cervical and Spinal Trauma. He is also certified in Whole Body Disability and Impairment Rating and has done postgraduate education and training in Neurology and Nutrition.

Sanders first exposure to hyperbaric oxygen therapy came as a result of the work his wife Laura does as a certified behavior analyst specializing in the treatment of autistic children. She is also Executive Director of Little Star Center, a private school for children with autism and other developmental delays.

Sanders' background in health and nutrition and a keen interest in whole body healing using the proactive, natural approach of hyperbaric oxygen therapy have made him an indispensable partner at Oxygen8. He oversees each chart and serves as a liaison to communicate between the clientele at Oxygen8 and their physicians. Sanders energy and commitment to healing is evident to all who know him.
